Induction Criteria
Wilson County Agricultural Hall of Fame Agriculture has been a cornerstone of Wilson County since it was formed in 1799 and those involved in agriculture have been a vital part of the community. The purpose of the Wilson County Agricultural Hall of Fame is to recognize citizens who have made a significant impact on agriculture.
Types of Agricultural Occupations of Inductees:
- Farmers
- Agriculture Teachers
- Agricultural Extension Agents
- Agricultural Business
- Food Processors
- Tennessee Department of Agriculture
- United States Department of Agriculture
Selection is based upon:
- Agricultural Occupation (25%)
- Community Involvement (25%)
- Impact on Other People in the Field of Agriculture (25%)
- Significant Agricultural Contributions (25%)
Interested individuals are encouraged to nominate worthy candidates for the annual induction into the Wilson County Agricultural Hall of Fame. Applications are available at the Wilson County NRCS Office:

The Board of Directors of the Wilson County Agricultural Hall of Fame will make decisions relative to the selection based upon the above criteria.
